Joan Of Arcasis

Joan of Arcasis sat in a wet, dark prison cell, while the Nation of Nitania argued over her fate. The nits wanted to kill Joan but they wanted a confession. They tortured Joan, telling her it would stop if she confessed to being a false prophet of the Red Anchor. They tortured her for ages.
Joan in her adventures, had ocassionally come across a purple haired woman. A woman who questioned Joan's loyalty to the red anchor, and asked questions like who would worship such a horrible god? Joan was often flamuxed with the nonconformist attitude of the strange woman. But the purple haired woman helped her through a couple serious problems.
One night, in captivity, Joan watched the sky, praying to the Red Anchor to save her. The dusk set in with a shimmering display of purples, greens and gold. Joan sat alone in her cell when a raven landed between the bars. The raven dropped down to the ground, shifted to shadows for a moment and then formed into the Purpled Haired woman, who introduced herself as Ravel Raven, demi-goddess of Death. She smiled sadly at Joan and explained, "The Red Anchor is a mad god. All who beilieve in him, believe strongly in their assumptions over his desires. The Red Anchor always causes a madness of personal bias. And it leads to a planet forgetting their unique qualities, and becoming consumed in wars over its desires. It is a villan through and through. A gigantic red metal anchor, that leads always to bloodshed and death in a grasp for power and control."
Ravel sat next to Joan and consoled her as she cried. Life long held beliefs are painful when confronted, even moreso after weeks of torture leading to mental and phisical exaustion. The horned woman continued, "The oricals of the coven have seen your fate unfold. Tomorrow you will die, you will be accused of witchcraft. The city of Nitania will gather and watch as they burn you at a stake. The King of Arcasis is back into power and will hatch no scheame for your rescue."
Joan screamed, "Then why was I chosen!? Why did the Red Anchor come to me? I could have had a happy life." Joan paused and considred the madness of the Red Anchor for a moment. And she realized, "Everyone all my life has been possessed by a madness?"
Ravel held joans hand. Softly stroked her hair, "Elsware on other planets of this galaxy, people get happy lives. But not places dominated by the Elderich Titans. Do you renounce the Red Anchor as your false-god, and accept The Coven as your Matriarchal Goddesses?"
